I am a slacker and have not written for a very long time! But my goal is to be better. With this baby coming to my sweet family I want to use this as a journal of sorts so that I can remember this pregnancy. :) I have a mix of emotions. Excited, scared, sick, and oh so very happy. I am only 8 weeks along but I am so looking forward to meeting the miracle that is growing inside me. It is that tiny baby inside me that makes me smile today!

The Boy I Love! :)

One of the best things in my life right now is a wonderful guy named Ben Harrison. We met at my singles ward and have been dating for a month and a half. today, i want to tell you some of the reasons why he makes me happy.





1) Ben is so sweet! :) he is the type of person that would do anything for you if you asked. i have already, in our short time of dating, seen him do many small acts of service. i need to be more like him!


2)Ben has been raised in an amazing family. he is the oldest of six (three boys and three girls) all of his siblings look up to him so much and he is a great example to them. and i absolutely love his mom!! she and i are very much the same in that we like to tease and be sassy. she is great!

3)Ben has great taste! now you may think I'm talking about me, but that's not what i mean! lol he just likes to do a lot of the same things i do. He loves the outdoors and hates sitting still. He loves old movies and dislikes ignorance. He loves cinnamon bears and doesn't like fish. He just has good taste! :)

4)Ben is SO handsome! i don't have to explain much on this one! lol you can see for yourself! :)



5) most importantly, Ben has an amazing testimony! we are taking two institute classes together this semester and i am absolutely loving it. the classes are great but what i love most is learning about the gospel with him. He is constantly sharing his testimony with me and everyone around him! he is always telling me how much the Lord love me and that he knows that God loves all his children. and then he shows his testimony through his actions daily!




So in a nut shell, Ben is one of the simple things in life that make me smile!

My Puppy!!!

i have the bestest best dog ever!! We got her when she was just a puppy from my cousin who worked at a vet clinic. She had been hit by a car and had a broken leg and her first family didnt want her back. So we addopted her and named her tootsie. She is a crazy dog! She has learned to jump over our 6 foot fence so that she can explore the neighborhood. She doesnt know any tricks really unless she knows you have a treat. Then she will go from sit to lie down to shake and then she gets impatient and tries to get the treat for herself. Ha ha silly puppy! My favorite thing that she does is when ever i get home she will come to the gate and she just looks so happy to see me! She also loves to cuddle on the couch and watch movies... shhh dont tell mom! lol I am just glad that she is one of the little things that puts a smile on my face.

Every little girl loves to play dress up and dreams of one day growing up and becoming a princess. I have been lucky enough recently to have both of those little girl fantisies fullfilled. I have had the rare oppertunity play the ultimate game of dress up and become a princess for the day in several parades and a birthday party. You should see the looks on the little girls faces! Their cute little mouths drop open and their eyes get as big as watermellons! Those cute little faces who look up at me in such wonder are just one of the many little things that make me smile.:)
